Refund & Returns Policy

At Tartarus TCG, we want returns and refunds to be straightforward. This policy explains your statutory consumer rights and our additional voluntary returns policy.

Your Statutory Cancellation Rights

If you are a UK consumer purchasing online, you normally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days after receiving your goods, without giving a reason.

After telling us that you wish to cancel, you normally have a further 14 days to return the goods.

Please contact us before sending goods back so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions and returns address.

Where you cancel an entire order under your statutory cancellation rights, we will refund the cost of our standard delivery option. If you selected a more expensive delivery service, we are only required to refund an amount equivalent to our standard delivery charge.

For a normal change-of-mind return, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.

These rights are separate from our additional voluntary 30-day returns policy below.

Our 30-Day Returns Policy

In addition to your statutory rights, Tartarus TCG offers a voluntary return period of up to 30 days after you receive your order for eligible products.

For returns made under this additional voluntary policy, products must be returned in substantially the same condition in which they were received and suitable for resale.

For condition-sensitive products such as trading-card singles, the card must be returned in the same condition in which it was supplied.

For sealed trading-card products, products returned under our voluntary policy after the statutory cancellation period should remain sealed and in their original packaging.

This voluntary policy does not restrict any statutory rights you may have.

Trading Cards and Product Condition

Trading cards and sealed TCG products can lose significant value through handling, opening or damage.

During the statutory cancellation period, you may inspect goods as you reasonably could in a physical shop.

If goods have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and condition, and this reduces their value, we may make an appropriate deduction from the refund where permitted by law.

This may be particularly relevant to:

• individually priced trading-card singles;
• graded or condition-sensitive cards;
• sealed booster boxes, packs or decks where packaging has been opened or damaged; and
• collectible products whose value is materially affected by their condition.

Nothing in this section affects your rights where goods are faulty, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise not supplied in accordance with consumer law.

Faulty, Damaged, Misdescribed or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order when it arrives.

If an item is faulty, damaged, misdescribed or different from what you ordered, contact us as soon as possible at tartarustcg@gmail.com.

Please include your order number and, where useful, photographs showing the problem.

Where the problem is our responsibility, Tartarus TCG will cover reasonable return costs where a return is required.

Depending on the circumstances, we may provide a replacement, refund or another appropriate remedy.

For low-value items, we may decide that returning the original item is unnecessary. Please contact us before sending anything back.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods.

Pre-Orders

Pre-orders may be cancelled for a full refund at any time before dispatch.

Release dates shown for pre-order products are estimates based on information supplied by manufacturers, publishers and distributors and may change.

If supplier allocation, cancellation or another stock issue means that we cannot fulfil your pre-order, we will refund the affected item in full.

Once a pre-order has been dispatched, the normal cancellation and returns provisions in this policy apply.

Return Postage

For a change-of-mind return, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.

Where goods are faulty, damaged, misdescribed or incorrect and a return is required, Tartarus TCG will cover reasonable return costs.

Refunds

Where you exercise your statutory cancellation rights, refunds will be made in accordance with the applicable statutory time limits.

We may wait until we have received the returned goods, or until you provide evidence that they have been sent back, where permitted by law.

Refunds will normally be issued to the original payment method.

Your bank or payment provider may require additional time before the refunded amount appears in your account.

Returns Address

Our registered office is not our product returns address.

Do not send products to our registered office.
